Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009

Monday, November 9th, 2009

This year's Globabl Entrepreneurship Week is almost here! From 16 – 22 November 2009, Global Entrepreneurship Week will connect young people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. Students, educators, entrepreneurs, business leaders, employees, non-profit leaders, government officials and many others will participate in a range of activities, from online to face-to-face, and from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings.

Countries across six continents participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week. Here in the Kansas City area, the largest event related to Global Entrepreneurship week is the Small Business Expo sponsored by SHBC. My partner in social media crime, I mean marketing, Bethany Spilde is one of the event speakers. Also featured is Dan Stalp, who you have probably heard me mention once or twice as a great sales coach.

The expo will be held on November 19th and admission is free. Visit the expo web site to see who else is speaking and exhibiting.

$350 Just For Asking

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

I posted a couple times about a new offering that I've been working on called The Biz Academy. The idea for The Biz Academy, as well as the design of the programs in the academy, came  from talking to True Small Business owners – those business owners who want help growing their business but don't have the budget for "traditional" consulting services.

I'll be posting more about the program in the coming week, but since we are in the holiday party\networking season I want to make a special offer to my friends, colleagues, and readers. During the next two weeks, ask me about The Biz Academy, and if you decide the program is a fit for you and you join, I'll give you $350 off your enrollment fee.

Today, I will be at the SHBC Holiday Party meeting, so stop by and holler "Bill, give me my money".
