What the Heck is Rebar?
Rebar or reinforcement bars, are common steel bars that are used for reinforcing concrete. Concrete is very strong in one direction (being pushed on) but not very strong when pulled or twisted. Rebar gives support in these areas where concrete is weak.
I have always liked this analogy to describe how our company helps small businesses. Most business are started because the owner is strong in one area – preparing tax returns, programming computers, wiring a house, etc. While they are strong in their specialty, they are often not strong in other areas of running a business, such as marketing. Rebar provides the reinforcement systems that small business owners need to be able to grow a strong, stable business.
Rebar is behind the scenes. It's not fancy. It can be bent and shaped to the unique needs of project. Rebar comes in different sizes and grades. Rebar by itself is not particularly important; it’s contribution to other structures and systems is what makes it special. As the saying goes, it ain't pretty, but it works.
For all of these reasons, Rebar describes the kind of company I wanted to create to support those who are building small businesses. Let us know how Rebar can help you build the business of your dreams.
