The Google Wonder Wheel is a nice tool for doing keyword research and can be a useful tool for helping you find keyword phrases to include in your blog posts. The wonder wheel can be a little tricky to find. In fact, with the latest update to Google, you may think the took the wonder wheel away, but it’s still there. Last night in our social media pro class we managed to track it down so I thought I would write a quick post about it in case others are struggling to find it.

Google recently introduced a new feature called Google Instant. With Google Instant, you see search results as you are typing in the search box. In order to access the wonder wheel, you need to turn Google Instant off. Here’s how:
Perform a search in Google
Look to the right of the search button. You should see a link similar to the one pictured here indicating whether Google Instant is on or off.
If Google in on, switch it off. You should see the page refresh.
With Instant turned off, you should now see a link for the wonder wheel in the left sidebar.
Click on the link to see the wonder wheel.
Thanks to everyone who attended class last night and helped find the wonder wheel.
