Base in Braintree, MA, Dave McGillicuddy started McGillicuddy Electrical Services in 2006. They provide both residential and commercial electrical services. Check out the photos on their site, they do some really beautiful work.
I worked with Dave to create his new blogsite using WordPress. Not only does having a site based on WordPress make it easy for the site to be maintained, it is also easy to add additional functionality. For example, not only can easily add new photos as they complete projects, but their customers can use the site to submit jobs for estimates.
McGillicuddy also uses their website to help maintain their unique Bear Bond Referral Program, making it easier for customer to send referrals their way.
Dave has just started his blog, and I’ve already learned something new. Did you know that government regulations may make your light bulbs obsolete?
We still have some features to add, but I think Dave’s blogsite is a nice example of how small business websites are moving from static, online brochures to becoming a hub for all your marketing activities.
